Routine appointments

Booking an Appointment

We operate an advanced access appointment system, which allows patients to book appointments on the same day. If you would prefer to book in advance, each GP also has a limited number of pre-bookable appointments available up to one month ahead.

There are several ways to book a routine appointment:

  • By telephone by speaking with a member of the reception team
  • In person at the reception desk

We also offer telephone consultations with both Doctors and Nurses. Please let the receptionist know if you would prefer a telephone consultation.

You may also be offered an appointment with another appropriate member of the team, depending on your needs, including:

  • Physiotherapist for musculoskeletal issues
  • Clinical Pharmacist for medication queries or reviews
  • Mental Health Practitioner for support with mental health concerns

To arrange any of these appointments, please contact reception.

Urgent Appointments

All urgent clinical needs will be assessed on the same day.

For non-urgent concerns, we will offer you an appointment within an appropriate timeframe based on clinical need, which is typically within two working days. If you prefer to see a specific GP, you may need to wait longer.

You can also choose to book appointments in advance where available.

Cancelling your appointment

If you are unable to attend your appointment or no longer require it, please contact the practice as soon as possible on 01652 650580. This will allow us to offer the appointment to another patient in need of care.

Home Visits

If you feel you require a home visit, please contact the surgery as early as possible in the day. A clinician will then contact you to discuss your needs.
