Prescriptions

The Dispensary is open:

• Collection of medication 10.00am – 1pm and 2pm – 6pm 
• Ordering of medication.8.30am – 1pm and 2pm – 6pm via the automated phone service ( option 3 ).

Please allow at least 5 days when ordering repeat prescriptions not including weekends or bank holidays. 

Orders can be placed in person via the automated phone service ( option 3 ) or via the internet Order your Prescriptions button if you are registered for this service. If you have not registered use the Online Requests, Advice and Help button following “I have and admin query”. 

We also offer monitored dosing systems for patients who have difficulty in remembering to take their medication (please ask for further information).

Medication Wastage

Please Remember – When re-ordering your medication – only order the medication you need. Over ordering and stock piling medication is dangerous and a waste of NHS money.

 Remember

• Keep the medicine chest in a secure, locked place out of reach of small children.
• Always read the instructions and use the suggested dose.
• Watch the expiry date – don’t keep or use medicines past their sell by date
• Take all unwanted and out of date medicines back to the Dispensary
