Training practice
Hibaldstow Medical Practice is an approved teaching practice working in partnership with the University of Lincoln and the University of Nottinghamto support undergraduate medical education.
Medical students are periodically attached to the practice as part of their General Practice placements. These placements are supervised by qualified GPs and form an essential part of the students’ clinical training.
As a teaching practice, we are committed to maintaining high clinical standards, supporting professional development, and contributing to the future GP workforce.
Patients will always be asked for consent before a medical student is present during a consultation. If you prefer to see the GP without a student present, please inform reception or the clinician — this will not affect the care you receive.
GP net earnings
All GP practices are required to declare the mean (average) earnings for GPs working to deliver NHS services to patients at each practice.
The average pay for GP’s working in Hibaldstow Medical Practice in the last financial year was £43,970 before tax and National Insurance. This is for 2 part time GP’s, who worked in the practice for more than 6 months
It should be noted that the prescribed method for calculating earnings is potentially misleading because it takes no account of how much time doctors spend working in the practice and should not be used to form any judgement about GP earnings, nor to make any comparison with any other practice.
