Temporary Residents

To register as a temporary resident you will need to complete and return the “temporary registration form” available from reception or downloaded from https://www.nhs.uk/NHSEngland/AboutNHSservices/Documents/Doctors/GMS3.pdf 

Only once these have been completed and input onto the practice system, will you be able to book an appointment.

Whilst temporarily registered, you will remain registered with your permanent GP surgery.

Our surgery will pass on any treatment details to your permanent GP surgery.

Conditions of acceptance:

• If you are not registered with a GP but need to see one, you can get emergency treatment at any GP surgery, you may need to register as a temporary patient.
• If you plan to live within the practice area for up to 3 months. After 3 months you must apply to be registered as a permanent resident.
• If you are taking repeat medication and do not have enough to last you for the duration of your temporary residency, you will need your prescription and will need to book a telephone appointment to speak to the GP.
